Association taking its time finding new CEO The Experimental Aircraft Association appears to be in no hurry to pick a new CEO nine months after its former leader Rod Hightower stepped down. According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association news service, the current chairman of EAA's board of directors, Jack Pelton, said there currently is no search underway for a CEO. Instead, Pelton is managing the association in the absence of a full-time executive. "We're taking a big step back," he said.
